Buffalo, NY (WBEN Newsroom)  -- The Niagara Tourism and Convention Corporation is encouraging folks to “Come East, young man.” The NTCC has invested $225,000 in a four week promotional blitz aimed at luring folks to the region from the Midwest. Business First says the spots will air in Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh.
 
Brinks Bar on Chippewa Street is for sale. Owner Dennis Brinkworth is seeking $750,000.   
 
The buyer for the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo’s Camp Lakeland in Franklinville has backed out of the deal. Real estate holding company Meritocracy Ventures Ltd. had signed a purchase contract in March.
 
Tomorrow is the deadline to submit construction bids on the area’s first P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. The restaurant will be built at the Galleria in Cheektowaga. Work is to begin this May, with a completion date of this fall.
 
The Community Health Center of Buffalo has received a $1.5 million state grant.
 
Emerling Ford Mercury of Springville recently received a President’s Award from the Ford Motor Company.
