Fort Erie Race Track set a wagering record in its just-concluded live thoroughbred racing season.  According to Business First, nearly $28.9 million (Canadian) was bet during Fort Erie’s 40 live racing dates this year, a 20 percent increase from last season.  Officials also believe track attendance increased by at least 10 percent.
