According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of unleaded gas in the area is down a penny from a week ago to $3.53.  At the same time, the national price has dropped ten cents since last week to $3.10 per gallon.

A boost for Buffalo's beer business: Queen City Malting expects to be fully operational by December 1st in The Barrel Factory at 65 Vandalia Street.

The Buffalo Planning Board has approved a $10.5 million project to renovate a pair of buildings at 295 Niagara Street into a mixed-use structure, anchored by 40 apartments.

There's news from National Fuel that should warm you up ahead of winter.  The utility company predicts that customer bills are likely to decrease this winter by approximately 20 percent from last winter’s heating season.  That current forecast is
