Developer Jayesh Patel has purchased two hotels for a combined $2.2 million.  Through separate subsidiaries, Patel has acquired the 22-room Boulevard Inn motel on Niagara Falls Boulevard and the 37-room University Motor Inn on Main Street in Amherst.  Business First reports his current plan is to renovate both properties, but keep them as independent motels.
