Catholic Health ended 2014 with a $42.8 million surplus, continuing a 10-year trend of operating surplus.   Business First reports revenue for Catholic Health was $953 million last year, an increase of nearly 3.4 percent over 2013.

Independent Health finished 2014 with a $60 million deficit on premium revenue of $1.8 billion.
