Patience is the buzzword surrounding the Buffalo Sabres organization. Team president Ted Black spoke to the media following the NHL's Board of Governors meeting on Saturday and he once again affirmed his belief in the team's head coach and general manager, as well as the players on the roster.

BUFFALO (AP/WBEN) - Ryan Miller made 30 saves, including stopping Matt Moulson on the doorstep with 4:04 left, and led the Sabres to a 2-1 win over the Islanders on Tuesday night.

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) In a season filled with more downs than ups, the Buffalo Sabres reminded their fans of what could've been Sunday afternoon as they defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-2 at First Niagara Center. The team came into the game sitting in the basement of the Eastern Conference but managed to shake off their latest losing streak for the win.

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The FCC's open comment period on NFL Blackouts is coming to an end. Local fans gave their input.
Matt Sabuda of the Buffalo Sports Fans Coalition says many wrote to express their concerns over blackouts. "We had 2,500 signatures, about 1,000 of them over the weekend," says Sabuda.
